Without friends no one would choose to live, through he had all other goods, even rich men and those in possession of office and of dominating power are thought to need friends most of all, of what is the use of such prosperity without the opportunity of beneficence, which is exercised chiefly and in its most laudable form towards friends? Or how can prosperity be guarded and preserved without friends? The greater it is, the more exposed is it to risk. And in poverty and in other misfortunes men think friends are the only refuge, it helps the young, too, to keep from error, it aids older pople by ministering to their needs and supplementing the activities that are failing from weakness, those in the prime of life it stimulates to noble actions....for with friends men are more able both to think and to act.

A true friend is always there when you need her, when you wake up at 2 am in the morning, and cant sleep, she is the one that will answer her phone when you call and listen to your endless babblings! She is the one standing behind you while your haunched over the toilet puking after having too much to drink saying "lekka, jy wil mos!! jy wil mos!!whilst holding your hair back for you so as to not get it full of puke! she is the one that actually says "yes koeks, your ass DOES look big in those pants!!" and you love her for it! In short, a true friend, is you guardian angel..... I love all my friends! thank you for being such a fantastic part of my life! mwah mwah!

i am so lucky i have 4 close friends, that hopefully be with me till end of my days.

True friends....
A True Friend are always there for you no matter what... They will always stand up for you, they are the one who sits with you in jail... (mmmmm wait then I dont have any true friends) rephrase... They are the ones who comes and bail you out or give you your smokes thru the window.... True friends are the first one at the accednt seen... a true friend are one that drives 200km 2 in the morning because you are down.... a true friend give's you his last R1000 to help you.... a true friend sits up till 3 in the morning and just talk and know he has to work the next day.... a true friend are just always there for you no matter what when or where even if you only see them like one in a year, but if you need them they are there for you...
Me as a true friend will give up my life for my friends...
Yes I do agree Cat, Okay I got a lot of friends but are they really my friends?? Only got 6 True friends at this stage, well still working on one but I will give my life to spare her's, so I guese she's my true friend...
